The Isaac Region is a local government area located in the central part of Queensland, Australia. It covers an area of approximately 58,000 square kilometers and has a population of around 22,000 people. The region is named after the Isaac River, which runs through it.

Getting There

The Isaac Region is accessible by road, rail and air. The nearest airport is in Moranbah, which is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes drive from Mackay. There are several highways that run through the region, including the Peak Downs Highway, the Gregory Highway and the Bruce Highway.
